Microsoft returned to its previous Start Menu
Hope that Windows 10 will be released in late 2015. Its not understand why Microsoft unveils Windows 10 instead of Windows 9. In the event in San Francisco Microsoft showed that they want to make Windows 10 a high level OS, they highlighted major upgrades and return to their Start Menu. Windows 10 will come with a great desktop friendly environment for all smartphones, tablets, PCs and TVs.
In Windows 10, you will have the option of using task view (virtual desktops). Right now you just have one desktop per monitor, but with the task view (virtual desktops), you can change between as many desktops as you like, Snap Assist, allows you to grab apps from multiple desktops. This is a popular power user feature that has been present on some Linux window managers and via third-party Windows tools for years but now it’ll be native in Windows 10. Command Prompt also improved.
Microsoft said that we will discover more about the customer side of Windows 10 early next year, and the company plans to talk more about Worldwide Apps at its next Build conference in April 2015. Microsoft will allow users to preview Windows 10 as part of the Windows Insider Program, though the website currently says to “check back soon” for a beginning date.
